How can platform and infrastructure teams use shared Claude Code agent workflows?

Claude Workshop publishes one workflow in the repo: CLAUDE.md, an MCP allowlist, and the CI evidence a change must attach. Platform and SRE teams then apply that same loop to infra, CI, and internal tools. Fast adopters, skeptics, and reviewers stop inventing private rules.

Teams often split between people who already use Claude Code and people who carry the review risk. A shared workflow gives each group a concrete role: what to delegate, what to review, and what remains owned by the engineer.

Platform and SRE work fails when every squad writes its own agent habit. Install shared rules, a short MCP allowlist, and a CI evidence check that the agent stayed inside bounds. One workflow in the repo beats twelve private ones that reviewers cannot compare.

We define reusable task briefs, CLAUDE.md, MCP and tool boundaries, review checkpoints, and escalation rules so Claude Code use becomes a team practice. Product engineers and platform engineers run the same checkpoints.

Risk drops when agent work is smaller, evidence is visible in CI, review expectations are consistent, and engineers know which decisions must not go to the model.
