What the work looks like

A real repository lab

In a delivered workshop for a mixed-experience engineering department, we combined repository setup, context management, a feature lab, debugging, testing, and team instructions.

Evidence your team can review

Exercises focus on plans, code changes, test results, and repository instructions that participants can inspect. Agree success measures such as review time, defects, and cycle time before a rollout, then compare them with your own baseline.

How we work

Discuss the work

Start with a 15-minute call with the founders. A stakeholder conversation then covers roles, current tools, skill levels, approved data, and the work your team wants to improve.

Agree scope and preparation

Your proposal sets the curriculum, trainers, preparation, schedule, materials, fee, and any follow-up support. We agree repository access and confidentiality requirements before using your code.

Run the workshop

Sessions run live online, at your office, or at an agreed offsite venue. The team practises on agreed tasks and records the review and verification habits it will use after training.

Frequently asked questions

What should we prepare before training?

Bring your team goals, current tool setup, and a small set of representative tasks. We agree the repository, access permissions, and any setup checks before delivery.

Can we use our own codebase?

Yes, with agreed access and confidentiality arrangements, including an NDA where needed. We agree which tools and data are approved before using a client repository.

How long is a workshop and what does it cost?

The standard team workshop is usually two days at USD 1,000 per person per day; other formats are scoped separately. The proposal confirms the duration and fee based on the team, preparation, trainers, and delivery format.

Is this a vendor-run certification course?

No. Harness Institute provides independent practical training. Founder ambassador and community roles do not make the workshop a vendor-operated course or a vendor certification.
